Twitter Account Setup

How to Setup a Twitter Account to Receive SFO/BLOG Messages:

1. Log onto Twitter.com using your favorite web browser.
2. Type your first and last name in the 'Full Name' block.
3. Type your desired username in the 'Username' block. (Twitter will check for availability. You might have to come up with a new username if there is a conflict).
4. Enter your email account in the 'Email' block.
5. Type the two words as instructed as a security check.
6. Click on 'Create Account'.
7. Click on 'Next step: friends' link at bottom of page.
8. Click on 'Next step: others' link at bottom of page.
9. Type 'GBSC' in 'Who are you looking for?' box and click 'Search'.
10. Scroll until you find 'Soar GBSC' and click on 'Follow' block to right side of Soar GBSC' entry.
11. Click on 'You're Done' (you are not done!).
12. Click on 'Settings' at top of page.
13. Click on 'Mobile' in Settings list.
14. Enter your cellphone number in the 'Enter your mobile phone number' box (don’t forget your area code).
15. Click on 'Start' under 'Verify your phone'.
16. As instructed, send a text message to '40404' with text 'GO' and send.
17. After Twitter receives your cellphone confirmation message, click on 'Home' at top of page.
18. Click on 'Following' near top right of page (beneath the tweet icon).
19. Click on small cell phone icon next to SoarGBSC entry to enable Cellphone updates from GBSC (icon turns green).
20. Click on 'Sign Out' - you are done!
